CONTRACTED CONSULTING SERVICES

The Zigmund Company offers a variety of Consulting Services which are tailored to each individual Client’s unique operation. Insurance is not “One Size Fits All” and our Clients will always maintain control over their Operation’s Insurance Program. Our goal is to help the Client understand their long, confusing insurance policies and coverage (in Layman’s terms!). 

The Zigmund Company utilizes and has access to several industry resources to research the current & forecasted insurance trends, exposures, risks, important training, current competitive carriers, etc. This allows us to provide accurate, educated advice & recommendations to our Clients. We take the time to learn about and understand each Client’s operation so our Consultants are able to identify current exposures/risks which are currently, or forecasted to be, uninsured or underinsured based on their current Insurance Coverage.

FACILITATE ANNUAL CLIENT POLICY RENEWALS

Obtain Client Policy Renewals from Agent and analyze each policy to ensure accuracy with coverage, limits, premium, endorsements, etc. Request any revisions needed from the Agent/Carrier. Provide Client with Annual Policy Review Documents. 

MANAGE/MAINTAIN CLIENT INSURANCE PROGRAM & OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES

Maintain/Organize Client's current Insurance Policies (client policy binder with all current policies). File expired Client Policies (at consultant office) for the previous five years for reference if needed.

PROVIDE CLIENT ADVICE/RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CURRENT INSURANCE PROGRAM

New Clients receive a comprehensive “Summary Report” of their current insurance program. The “Summary Report” includes advice/recommendations based on Client’s current Coverage & Policies (limits, endorsements, exclusions, premium, etc.).

ANALYZE CLIENT CARRIER LOSS RUNS (CLAIM HISTORY) 

Obtain & Analyze Client Carrier Loss Runs (claim history report) by Policy at time of Client's Annual Policy Renewals (unless Client requests otherwise). Provide Client with identified loss trends/large exposures and training opportunities in order to prevent/reduce future claims/suits. 

CONSULTANT ON RETAINER TO ANSWER ANY CLIENT INSURANCE REQUESTS/QUESTIONS

Contracted Clients are provided with ongoing access to Consultant as needed to address any questions, provide advice/recommendations, etc. throughout the contract term. 

REVIEW CLIENT 1ST & 3RD PARTY CONTRACTS/AGREEMENTS

Review Client contracts (1st & 3rd Party) to confirm required insurance language/clauses are included to protect Client from claims/suits, etc. Provide Client language/clause recommendations & templates for future reference. Review 3rd Party COI’s to confirm coverage is current & adequate.

CLAIM/SUIT ASSISTANCE (1ST & 3RD PARTY)

All Zigmund Consultants have Commercial Claims Handling experience! From a simple Business Auto Claim or a Litigated Case involving Defense Costs and large Policy Deductibles, we have you covered! 

FACILITATE CLIENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) PROCESS

Just a few Benefits of an “RFP” include keeping Client’s Agent/Carrier competitive in the current marketplace and comparing current coverage with other options available. We facilitate the entire “RFP” process on behalf of Client (applications through binding coverage). * Based on Client contract terms, this service may generate an additional fee.

ATTEND/FACILITATE CLIENT MEETINGS AS REQUESTED

Consultant will attend Client meetings as requested by Client (in-person or remotely). Clients frequently request a Consultant to attend meetings related to insurance/risk management (meetings with Broker/Agent, Safety Committee, Board of Directors/Council, Annual Insurance Renewals, etc.).
